Mr Harry A Stephens BArch DipLD FRAIA FDIA is a practicing architect and formerly a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Interior Architecture Program of the Faculty of the Built Environment at the University of New South Wales. After retiring from the full time staff of the university in 2003 he continued as a Visiting Fellow to the Interior Architecture Program and Lecturer in Sacred Art and Architecture in the General Education Electives there until 2011. He has maintained a research and teaching interest in sacred art and architecture for over forty years. His current professional practice includes church and chapel projects. He was appointed to the ACBC’s National Liturgical Architecture and Art Council at its inception in 2010 serving as its Secretary until November 2022.
