Deacon Christopher Roehrig married to Kristen Therese, with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
USMC Veteran, BSc. (Architecture) University of New South Wales, Master Heritage Conservation, University of Sydney, B.Divinity, The University of Notre Dame. Ordained to the Permanent Diaconate for the Archdiocese of Sydney on the 9th of November 2018.
Christopher is a Deacon, at St Joseph Parish Belmore, and was at St Brigid’s Parish Marrickville, for 7 years, as an Acolyte and Deacon for 5 years.
Christopher has 25 years experience in Architecture and Heritage Conservation services and is currently Director of Nimbus Architecture and Heritage Pty Ltd, Parramatta, specialising in Community Architecture, Residential Architecture, Sacred (Church) Architecture.
Christopher is currently restoring and beautifying the St Mary’s Cathedral in Tonga, has completed the design of the Chapel at ACU North Sydney NSW and is currently designing the Divine Mercy Shrine in Tonga for the Bishop of Tonga.
Christopher continually offers architecture and conservation/restoration advice for the Attorney General and Justice Department, for various courthouses throughout the state of NSW. Christopher also offers expert witness advice (heritage) for the City of Sydney and is a full member of International Council on Monuments and Sites, ICOMOS Australia.
Christopher likes fishing with family, friends and gardening.
